Feature Friday: Nicoline Patricia Malina

It started with me browsing Behance and finding a familiar photo. I've never seen it before, but I recognized it. That photo belongs to the amazing Nicoline Patricia Malina. Of course she's on Behance. Her work is something fashion photography aspirants should see.

What I love about her work is that it's got a touch of photojournalism. You know it's fashion, and most likely staged, but the way she captures them is almost like we're taking a peek at a particular moment in the lives of these dolled up fashion models. Each frame tells a story straight up, and just takes you away. I love her photographs because they look effortless. It's like you know they're all posing, even when it doesn't look like it at all. Feature Friday: Nick Rudnicki

Nick Rudnicki's style is most evident on the way he lights his subjects. Which is beyond stellar. I absolutely love how his lighting adds even more personality to his photographs. His photoset Heroes, is what led me to explore his gallery on Behance. Below are my favorites off his stunning gallery.

Feature Friday: Nadia Moro

I'm a sucker for photos with movement and contortion. Which would explain why models I've photographed long for a massage after a photoshoot. I love contortion and movement. These set of photos by Nadia may not have that amount of contortion, but it has movement that's romantic, and flowy.

Feature Friday: Iain Crawford

There are photographs that you can actually have words for. Like stunning, or amazing, or mindlowing. But on one sleep deprived moment, searching for the perfect feature to open the month, I fin a series of photographs that literally had me speechless. Well except for thinking "My god, how did he do that?!" Below are some of his works that are so beyond astounding, you just won't have words for it.

I absolutely love how he lights his subjects. And that there's always some form of movement, contortion, and spunk in his images. If these works don't amaze, or at the very least inspire you, then I don't know what will. But right now, I think I just found one I'd love to be like. Below are links to his awesomeness.
